Alicia plays a key role in streamlining the business, making sure everything is running smoothly and keeping on top of day-to-day issues. If we had an office, you might call her an “office manager” but since we don’t, her role is much more technology-focussed.
Alicia joined the team in May 2021. She’s worked in HR for over 20 years and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Her previous role was with a software development company, so she really understands the value we place on technology.
Her role as Digital Office Administrator means that Alicia is responsible for ensuring that the team embrace all of the accountancy software available to them; from Xero to Practice Ignition, Karbon and Futrli. When she joined the team she was immediately impressed with the team’s commitment to delivering the best possible client experience, particularly their ability to communicate the most technical information clearly and concisely.
Spare time is at a premium for Alicia as she’s a mum of two girls. She’s looking forward to them being old enough to take them scuba diving – something she’s passionate about! In the past she’s been diving with manta rays and sea horses! She’d also love to take them to Graceland, the home of Elvis Presley in Tennessee – she’s a huge fan! Closer to home though, you’ll find Alicia pottering in the garden or doing renovation work on her farmhouse home.
